Japanese Design

Today, I'll show you my photo about nice design. 

 I took this photo at shrine in Aomori prefecture where north japan. The icon of catfish. In Japan, it has long been thought that catfish cause earthquakes.

This photo is japanese lantern which is painted Chi-dori("千鳥" means thousand birds). It is very popular design in japan. And it has been used from Edo - period on earlier.

Chi-dori is my favorite icon, so my Chopstick restraint is like this :)

 Next is a cow. This is japanese road sign. It says "ATTENTION TO COWS!" I took this picture in Nagasaki, where the ranch is near.

In Fukui prefecture, you can see this road sign at high way. This land is naturally blessed land and you can meet various animals.

Of course, you can taste delicious sushi, not just raccoon. Please come and visit Japan where there are plenty of unique designs and delicious things.

Justice

I'm reading a book named "Justice" written by Michael Sandel. This book was written from basis  of lecture of Harvard. What is right thing to do? This is conundrum. But this complex problem was thought by many people on our history. Aristoteles, J.S. Mil, Bentham... and, us. Sandel said, to think about this conundrum is reason of citizen being. We have to, and are able to think this problem in our everyday life. This is live wisdom as same as other wisdom.

"Life is a box of chocolates"

I love novel "Norwegian wood" written by Haruki Murakami.
In capter 10, Midori Kobayashi who one of the heroines of this story sais to Watanabe.

"You know, they've got these chocolate assortments, and you like some but you don't like others? And you eat all the ones you like,and the only ones left are the ones you don't like as much? I always think about that when something painful comes up. 'Now I just have to polish these off, and everything'll be OK.' Life is a box of chocolates."

 Midori experiences many painful in her life as heroines of other story. Her family don't has many money. And her mother died because her ill. And, her father also is ill that is same ill. So, we read this sentence, and later sentence "It's true, though. I've learned it from experience."  is felt for us true.

You know, persons in this novels is unique and very attractive. And they have own problems. So we can learn from them and their words. And, this is same in our world. We has our problems and think about. We can learn many things from other and teach many people through our problems.

it's cloudy today.
I met and talked 2 young students in University.
They are interested in association  I will start to work in April.

What is the Job-hunting in Japan?
I don't understand well even after finishing it.
So, I cannot answer their question well.

Why should we do for job-hunting?
This is difficult problem.

Sunday_exp

I am participating to Day3 experiment in RIKEN.
We call this experiment Sunday.
(Because, this is third experiment at BigRIPS.
 Three is "San" in Japanese.
 So, we called this experiment sun-day experiment.)
Sunday is last day of the week and day for rest.
But, we come control room underground everyday.

We measures Interaction Cross Section (ICS) of Mg isotope on Carbon reaction target.
We are interested in region called "island of inversion" on nuclear chart.
In this experiment, we measures isotopes in this region.


Ekiden will be held on Sutuday.
So I want to go this game.
I wonder that this experiment finish until Sunday.

jogging

I ran with junior fellow around track.
He is going to do job-hunting from this year to next year.
In Japan, most of company reduce their accepted employee.

But I think, there will be companies that wants to recruit him.
Because he has good patience and clear-cut thinking, and what's more, he is good person.
I hope job-search of junior fellows go well.

English meeting

Our group has a meeting named EPS (English Presentation seminar).
This meeting is progress presentation in English.
Usually, I have no chance to speak English.
So, This meeting is good chance.

By using Internet, we can have a chance to listen English.
But, we usually don't speak English.
I want more chance to speak English.
I think I use Skype and English speaking service.

fall has come

I feel fall has come in Japan.
I can smell fall.
I think fall has come again.

rainy day

It is rainy today. It is darker and darker. Rainy season has come in Japan.

Everything'll be OK

To love myself. And, to do something I love myself. If I trust myself well, and everything'll be OK.
